Book Design
Blue is a book that explores the color from multiple perspectives such as science, nature, culture, language, and art. Rather than focusing on a single narrative, the book treats blue as a subject that connects natural phenomena, human perception, and cultural imagination.

In response to this theme, the design centers on the color itself as the primary visual language. Instead of relying on imagery, the cover uses typography, color variation, and material treatment to construct the visual identity of the book.

Different shades of blue were introduced across the design to suggest the diversity of the color found in nature and culture. At the same time, varied printing materials and production techniques were applied to create subtle shifts in surface texture and depth, allowing the color to appear differently under changing light and viewing angles.

Through these variations of color, material, and process, the design attempts to translate the idea that blue is not a single color but a spectrum of experiences.
